Okay so. I saw a post saying that Star Wars and g4 MLP are basically impossible to make good crossover designs for. And it seems pretty tough…But I think I can do it. My years of watching all that bullshit have prepared me lmao.

almost all species are now pony shaped with alien features. The only exceptions are species that would have fit within the mlp universe in the first place. Like Yoda and Ewoks. I judge this based entirely on vibes.

no more common magic, unicorn horns are just horns ( though the categories of Pegasus, earth, and unicorn are part of every species).

Darth Vader would have to be redesigned a bit. He would look stupid as hell with that giant Helmet on a pony shaped body. Doesn’t work at all.

I would also make the pony designs slightly less cartoony as well due to the more serious nature of Star Wars.

1) life & school

i Am nervous about school hbdfhbg i’m a sociology major!! ^^ love soc but i switched to honours so i have to keep my gpa up, and most of my classes this year are really reading/writing/presentation heavy.. plus i'm trying a full course load for the first time so doing my thesis next yr will be easier, but i'm already easily stressed and burnt out.. lol.. ;; it's probably fine though

life’s getting busy.. and i’m not sure my cosplay will get here in time for my con but it’s ok tbh! the good outweighs the bad for those things. i wish i had money for the con outside my grants/loans but LOL that's life 

2) celebrating my birthday with keiji :3

tmi maybe. i haven’t had a great birthday since i was 15/16 to be honest FBHBDJ i'm so burnt out and depressed in dec that the past few years i haven’t done anything at all LOL but hearing this,, keiji makes it his mission to give me a good one ^^ ! 

he takes the day off and makes sure the day is just for us! practices making heart shaped pancakes and cooks breakfast.. i walk in on him in the kitchen super focused and accidentally scare him LOL he wanted it to be a surprise but it’s ok!! i watch and talk while i wait

it’s usually cold so i don't go anywhere ;; but we still have fun!! it’s nothing crazy,, we just talk, put on a show while we work on a puzzle or bake… play some co-op games.. order dinner.. yeagh

I did find Cutey Honey francchise before, thanks to the OP song and went listening to all version of it lol. Then found out about Shin Cutey Honey - Legend of Goodbye whicch sounds so good. But what made me not watcch it was once I got to know it has ecchi in it which I'm not a fan of it. I know og anime has it as welll and some other wweird stuff, but like I don't know. :/

Oh yeah, the Cutie Honey series has a LOT of ecchi. It's important to remember that Cutie Honey- except for Flash- is primarily a shounen/seinen franchise, meaning that it's aimed towards men. Go Nagai is also known for being a dirty old man (not saying this to condemn him) which explains a lot of the ecchi in his series, lol.

Flash is the exception because it's a shoujo series specifically targeted at Sailor Moon's audience. Most of the ecchi has been removed and more Sailor Moon-esque magical girl elements are included. That's why I said in my post that it's by far the most approachable Cutie Honey series for magical girl fans.

Hello Tumblr!

Hi, hello it's me again your favorite yapper whose obsessed with Weezer. Today I have a variety filled report, I want to briefly talk about an album I listened to, I want to talk a little bit about my favorite game, Baldur's Gate 3 and just overall a little update about me. Starting with the music I listened to "Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?" by The Cranberries. I know absolutely nothing about The Cranberries but I enjoyed the album quite a lot. I'll continue listening to them, don't really have much else to say for now at least. Then onto Baldur's Gate. I took basically a 11 month hiatus from the game but now I'm getting back into it. I downloaded a few mods, continued my last save and created a few modded runs and characters. I think the thing I really wanted to share with you all is my tavs. I've made 7 of them now (one has yet to get any screenshots but I'll show you all the cutie pie eventually!!!) and I love each of them with all of my heart and I figured I'd share them cause why not. I also for some reason had a tradition of only doing male characters I think because I liked the challenge of making a not only cool but also hot/cute man?? But either way me doing that single handedly turned me bi, at least for men who look like my tavs(hit me up if you look like any of these fine character), including the dragon. Hopefully this orders them correctly, staring us off is: Kabal (Mephiston Tiefling, Necromancy Wizard), he was my first ever real playthrough and one of my favorites, he is a redeemed durge playthrough. Then next is Kori(half drow, Fiend Warlock/Battle Master Fighter), I believe most of these screenshots are of him, I also love him, he is a not redeemed durge playthrough. He is quite cool, it was by far one of my favorite playthroughs especially because Warlock/Fighter is OP. He was quite a horrible person however. Then the greatest dragon to ever exist, Snickerdoodle(dragonborn, bard). This was the best playthrough by far, Snickerdoodle supremacy. Snickerdoodle was an angel. Then is Silas(Seldarine Drow, Oathbreaker Paladin/Fiend Warlock). Originally he was also going to be a sorcerer like Kori but I wanted to try the Oathbreaker. He's a redeemed durge and morally grey. I also nicknamed him "The White Wolf" because he was named after a horror character called Silas and also nicknamed The White Wolf, it appeared in "The Quarry", I loved the game and thought the name went hard so I named him after it. Then is Fuera(Noble Half Elf. Light Cleric, Seldarine). I haven't gotten to Fuera's playthrough yet cause I'm still on Silas' but he is a redeemed durge again and morally good, I mainly just wanted to play as a cleric and in all honesty romance Shadowheart as a Seldarine. Then finally the first modded and also female character is Scarlett(Asmodeus Tiefling, Blood Mage). The class, her hair and the head model is all modded. She is a not redeemed durge playthrough and is going to be worse than Kori was, basically evil all the way with no exceptions. Although that kinda makes her hotter ngl, I love her. Especially because she and Kabal are the only two tieflings so the dynamic between one of the most moral tavs and the worst one is cool. And that is all of them. I don't think anyone will have read this far but if you did then I hope you enjoyed my tavs. And that is about it for today, big things are happening in my life so expect a lot of posts like this where I just yap and expel some stress by sharing my interests with you fine people. 10:10 a.m Edited/Added to Significantly

I had a dream last night that I was stuck in a car/camper type thing being trapped with 4 of my friends (idk who they were). We were being trapped by someone idk who.

They all started freezing to death. And one of them couldn't sleep. One of them was microsleeping next to a dead body. The dead body was frozen, his lips were ice. His face was frozen.

I wanted to leave and I kept trying. I called my mom and sister and I think I reached my sister. She didn't show up for me.

I remember being scared that I was going to start microsleeping again. I was terrified cause my friend was unable to fall asleep.

I think it was symbolic of me dying due to the trauma of microsleeping/Psychosis.

I really wish I could get over that trauma.

I reattached the heart monitor today I'm taking it off at like 8 p.m cause I'm not being woken up in the middle of the night with my chest all itchy and having to carefully remove it with hot water and a rag. Then I won't be able to fall back to sleep without copiuos amounts of drugs... so I'll take of it off before bed so it can't interrupt my sleeping pill from keeping me knocked out.

I had a couple good nights sleeping where I stayed asleep solidly through the night. Without needing to pee. Something that helped was not having that monitor on waking me up making me remove it.

I wish I didn't have to celebrate getting 7 hours of sleep and not waking up at the 4 hour mark, needing to pee and taking copiuos amount of drugs and it taking me 1-2 hours to get back to sleep.

I wake up multiple times in pain cause I have to pee so badly despite controlling my fluid intake before bed. But there is nothing I can do. It's lay there in pain and fall back to sleep or struggle to fall back to sleep and take a lot of drugs... and maybe not fall back to sleep.

After I posted what I posted last night, "what Sarah said" by Death Cab for Cutie started playing in my head maybe a hour later. "Love is watching someone die." Specifically and then, "and it came to me then that every plan is a tiny pray to father time."

I don't believe you're here but my brain wants to. I said that if you were here and you weren't reaching out, it would be cruel bc you're watching me suffer when you could be reaching out a hand.

Maybe I should look at it like this, "love is watching someone die." Cause it is. So if you're here and you can't talk to me bc you're in love with me and you're trying to set up your life before you show up its forgivable bc it's true. Love is watching someone die.

The tiny pray to father time part is maybe I'll hold on but you don't get it. It's awful listening to this hallucination 24/7. I never have a good day. I've completely flat lined and when I say I wouldn't want a gf so badly if I had internal peace I mean that.

I enjoy my alone time and game days so much but I dont anymore cause I hallucinate whenever I'm alone. I actually like being alone more than I like being around people. People suck and you have to compromise on everything. When I'm alone if I had internal peace I can do whatever I want whenever I want. I don't have to compromise on anything. Thats the sad part. I'd rather know few people and have tight relationships than be surrounded by people.

I used to LOVE my alone time now I would if I ever had a second of silence.

And generally the people i can hang out with I don't like much. I mean it doesn't apply to everyone but most are toxic... just bad for me...

Even the people I do like, like John for instance we have a lot in common but we still have to compromise. He loves zombies. I hate fucking zombies but like there aren't too many co-op games. Instead of playing what I want I have to compromise bc of the lack of co-op games and being a good friend is compromising. He wants to play zombies so I should. He compromises too.

That's the thing about relationships. I love being alone but all I do is hallucinate. If I could hang out alone and just play minecraft in peace and silence I'd be so happy. My quality of life would get so much better.

Part of me believes you read my tumblr but if you're here and you're not going to be my girl one day if it works out you got to reach out before it's too late. Being able to come to your house and have a Sunday funday or something and get to know your family and be around not toxic people could really help my mental health. A lot.

Haha I didn’t think anyone would actually see my post.

So I am probably gonna change her design because honestly I feel like I can do better at designing her if I study the Rick and Morty style a bit more.

As I said, she is going to be shipped with Morty and is 14-15. I like to think she is Morty’s next door neighbor. Since she is going to be shipped with Morty I am NOT going to make her mean to Jessica. Jessica is a cutie patootie who has done nothing wrong and I hate that trope. Mostly she will just have insecurities about her body (like most teenage girls do. Especially when they have a crush) I like to think she is kinda close to Summer. Not as close as she is to Morty but someone she looks up to.

She has a love-hate relationship with Rick. She thinks he is cool, smart and a badass but omg does she think he is a dick. She wants to look up to him so badly but how he treats Morty makes her angry. She knows he HAS to love him and his family but she doesn’t understand why she treats them that way. She doesn’t say anything because she wants to be on Rick’s good list. Plus, the adventure with Morty (and sometimes Summer too) are super cool in her opinion.

Now, her feelings for Morty aren’t complicated but she is a teenager so it takes her a while to realize she is in love with her best friend. Especially when she doesn’t understand why she is jealous about his girlfriends/flings. Although their scenes are totally fluffy and cute but also some of it will be angsty.

Totally see Evil Chloe be confident in her body and just don’t give a fuck what people think of her.

Once I rewatch the show I think I will have more ideas but this is what I got so far. :)

..sure. just be warned, this involves alternate realities, spoilers for King Richard II (the play in general and DT's version in particular (yes, there are things happening in that version that are spoilers even if you are familiar with the play itself (seriously watch the play before you read this, please))) and a (at least to my husband) horrifying amount of plushies. putting this under a read more in order not to spoil people

It starts, as it will end, with William Shakespeare, world's most famous author of RPF. In the year 1595 - a year even the oldest of us won't remember because of it's sheer unimportance - the present version of WouldIwas Shookspeared finished the play King Richard II. The titular character, lovingly called King Dick by no one but me, is a bit (read: a lot) of a drama queen, sarcastic bitch and a sopping wet pathetic human. One could argue that David Tennant was born to play him (or in one of those universes where a David Tennant character meets Good Ole Billy, 'cause writers just looove to do that, that the part was written with him in mind). Now we come to the part where you have to tread real careful or you'll get spoiled because while you can't have shit in Detroit (or Cincinnati) you can at least have David Tennant in King Richard II. So now for the first spoiler, and this is gonna be a real shocker: Dickie dies. Sad, I know, but Willy did love to bury his... well, anyone really. And to say it in the words of Hamlet's mum-aunt: "Thou know’st ’tis common; all that lives must die, Passing through nature to eternity." In the original play, Richie-Bitchie gets ganked by a random guy (literally, the guy is only there to stab the ex-king and thus piss of the new king). To quote my husband (allegedly) quoting David Tennant this is kinda a "shit ending" so someone in the production (probably not DT alone) decided to tweak the ending a bit (despite my husband's insistence of the contrary definitely for the better) thus abiding one of the Ancient Laws™.

This Law, which someone more fond of alliteration would probably call Luke's Law and which I am going to call Cole's Law instead, states that if a piece of media exists long enough, someone somewhere will inevitably make it gay in mainstream media (or, in the case of Shakespeare's works, more gay). So in this particular adaptation Rick is an even bigger bisexual disaster than in the original text (though far be it from me to slander the original Richard of Bordeaux by claiming he was less queer than DT's version). Therefore in the first minutes of the play, instead of letting his cousin, Henry Bolingbroke, Duke of Herford, kiss his hand, Rickle-Dickle just kisses him. On the mouth. In front of the whole court (and the theatre audience). Now, you, who is probably intimately familiar with Our Anointed Bisexual Disaster, are probably not very surprised by this turn of events. My husband was. He was silent for more than two minutes. I was silently and not-so-silently laughing for about 5 minutes. After that my husband spent the next hour silently and not-so-silently afraid of people randomly kissing each other.

"But OP you promised plushies," you might say, outraged at me having written way to many words about some drama queer and no words about plushies. Fret not, dear reader, for here come the dru- plushies, i mean plushies. (Disclaimer: Read on at your own risk, the author of this text cannot be held responsible for any trauma you might suffer. If you have survived looking at this without questioning what is real or not you are stronger than my husband who, upon seeing this, prompty accuses me of breaking the very fabric of reality in order to built up a clone army of plushies to then march against the world. I explain that I am merely collecting plushies. He explains that he is suspecting the genre of his life has just turned into horror. I explain that maybe he should sleep. He clicks to resume watching the play. For a good hour nothing particular interesting happens. I say hello to my mother-in-law. My husband threatens to kill Shakespeare for the umpteenth time. We both make fun of the King of Robbing around on the Floor. My mother-in-law tells me something about how my "hello" has led to a spiritual cleansing of her irritation. Shakespeare takes 34 lines to say something that could have been said in two. Relaxation slowly but surely sets in. King Richard II kisses another one of his cousins.

If my plushie collection was the last straw that broke the camel's back then this is the boulder that flattens the camel to the ground. Screams are scrumpt. Threats are made. I try to feel bad for laughing so hard but fail spectacularly. If Shakespeare had been alive at that moment he wouldn't have been for much longer. As it stands I am now fairly certain either necromancy or time travel will be discovered in the near future by someone very intent on killing a certain playwright. A very suspiciously silent two minutes follow in which Asmi desperately tries to find someone other than Shakespeare to blame. He finds David Tennant as the culprit and simultaneously spoils the ending of the play for himself (yeah, yeah, i know, despite having mentioned they changed the ending a bit i haven't actually told you what they changed. truth is i forgot to mention it anywhere cause i was too caught up in the homosexuality of it all). I try to convince him there are other people who could be potentially responsible for including the kiss scenes but he is already preoccupied thanking each and every single entity between heaven and hell and above and beyond that David Tennant is straight. The only reason my confusion is short-lived is due to Asmi's mounting fear of my plushies shattering the barrier between realities and letting a gay David Tennant through. I fail to see the exact problem with that. Subsequently I am subjected to a rather unmathematical rant about the frequency with which a certain actor kisses men. By doing the crime of extrapolating from one known data point (this world's David Tennant's frequency of kissing men) my husband comes to the conclusion that any David Tennant attracted to men would be kissing men nearly constantly. At this point I am laughing too hard to point out the mathematical flaws in this reasoning. Then I get kicked out of the stream.

Because I am nothing if not a bastard I try to rejoin as Gay David Tennant. Asmi blocks me from entering. I try again as GAY David Tennant. Google Meet blocks me on the grounds of my name being "suspicious". Asmi lets me join as Straight David Tennant. I gleefully tell him that means I stole this world's DT's heterosexuality - a consequence of Pauli's exclusion principle. I get kicked out of the stream again. While I try to think of another name to torture Asmi bring happiness into my husband's life I am struck by a revelation so powerful that I might actually believe God spoke to me, open tumblr and change my name to gay-david-tennant just to see if I can. I can. I am now a dozen times more worried about the prospect of any post of mine landing as a screenshot on another site because of the sheer inexplicablity of my name but I am also confusing people spectacularly so it all works out in the end.

I don't know if this is the right scene but it's what I found in volume four (please excuse the bad quality and that it's in german):

Nami is teasing Law about the "D" and says it might mean "DO" which apparently is short for Dotei and means male virgin in Japanese why Law reacts so embarrassed.

Chopper tries to tell him that there is no need to be embarrassed and that everyone starts out as a virgin.

To which Law answers that maybe he isn't even embarrassed and also not everyone is starting out as a virgin!

Which makes Chopper react with a "huh?"

Because same XD Maybe Law means the D. again or he means the zodiac? idk.

Anon: Continued…*** **** thing,I read about it 7-8 years ago, so I doubt I could find it easily again. It’s like an interview fan translated into English. Also Oda deemed it too dark as well, thus why he changed it. This isn’t Berserk after all. Yes, the author of that opp just uses Law in these stupid scenarios because the real Law doesn’t do that in the main manga. They do everything in a goofy,over exaggerating way. But the series is approved by Oda storyboard wise and dialogue(don’t remember that) Anon: Either it was written at the ends of the volumes or sellers websites description. Anyway, it is true tha Ei Ando used to be Odas assistant and that he is checking the stories. It is written in the Volumes, that is correct.

I'd still take it with a pinch of salt because I don't think he is reading as closely as some of us fans and I don't think that he checks on possible hints towards ships.

Personally I don't see any prference of Ei Ando but that might be because I haven't read it like that. All I know is that there is not much FRobin which could be a concious decision because they already have a strong presence.

But if she indeed ships Law/Nami... good for her!

Ongoing Series - Thai

Don’t Say No Ep 9 (Line) - It’s my corny af hurt/comfort soap opera that I watch at 1.5x and skip all the sex scenes and Fiat crying, but I like it that way, so there. Yes I am one of those people who only eats the outside of the peanut M&Ms, why do you ask? Episode recaps here. 

Bite Me Ep 5 (Viu & Viki) - sometimes I feel like this show is skipping all the important bits, or having them occur off screen intentionally, like some ancient Greek play. Still, the depth of the feeling understood between the two leads is clearly transferred to us despite that. Are they dating? Sure seems that way. Without anything being actually said about it. It’s oddly magical. I talked a bit about the north/south divide and food as a love language with regards to kao soi in this post. 

7 Project Ep 5 The Breakup Zone (iQiYi & YouTube) - another het installment, so I skipped it. Nash. 

Ongoing Series - Not Thai

Peach of Time Ep 10 fin - A Korean BL (maybe not BL tho) featuring Thai talent that really went beyond a lot of tropes into interesting territory and allegory in a way only Korea does. I hope we get more collabs like this, perhaps happier than this one next time? RECOMMENDED only if you are prepared for The Sad. Because it is quite sad.  

x Friend or Lover (YouTube) Ep 6 - still waiting on the final of this Taiwanese indie series.  

Love is Science? (BL sub plot on Viki) Ep 14 (aired ep 15) - Taiwanese drama finally got subbed yesterday, so those of us who are waiting seem to be on a week’s delay. The BL couple actually has the most interesting story arc and the most unusual character growth. I’m enjoying how unpredictable these two are. Honestly, they could have gotten their own series with this much story - and now I really want that for after the baby comes. I’m a little sad we didn’t get the coming out in the skate park sequence (LOOK I love coming out drama, especially with sporty friends, it’s a THING), but I also get why the writers are doing what they are with these boys. And the actors sure can handle it. Taiwan at it’s finest.  

Love Is the series (YouTube) Ep 5 - continues to be fine for a V-BL but not all that actually good. 

See You After Quarantine? (Viki) Ep 6, 7 - Taiwanese gameboys with Japanese talent stuck in, what more could we ask? AND THEN they gave us some *thirsty boi* action, great kisses, and charmed the pants off... well... everyone. Taiwan, we don’t deserve you. Honestly, you spoil us. Turns out Aaron Lai is the best wingman any gay Japanese man in quarantine could ask for. Everyone should be watching this. It’s utterly charming. 

The Tasty Florida (Viki) Ep 3 & 4 - this Korean BL so fucking cute. Look it’s formless and too short but simultaneously aching and kinda special-sweet. But Korea has got to settle into something a bit longer for their BL for everyone’s sake. It’s time. Light On Me proved it was possible. I’m not asking for much, just 15 min+ of fresh content with at least a 10 ep arc. 

In Case You Missed It

Someone dropped K-BL movie cut of 2015′s The Lover series onto YouTube. The series was about 4 different couples all living in the same apartment complex, one of the 4 was a BL plot about a sunshine sweetie Japanese tourist who ends up roommates with a hot shy tsundere Korean boy. It’s 1.5 hours, proving Korea and stretch its BL when it wants to.

GOSSIP!

Rumors of OhmFluke to star in new Thai BL Oh! My Sunshine Night. It’s from Newsinfinity Entertainment who announced the casting and showed the couple in workshops. This is this (small) production house’s first BL and they aim to “appeal to to general audiences* with a “broader view of BL that everyone will watch.” Which is code for LOW heat, light gay, soft boys. If this happens I think we can expect this to be Thailand doing Korean-style BL. 

* GENERAL AUDIENCE? Let’s be clear no piece of media will EVER appeal to everyone. Here is the USA “general audience” is code for “families with socially conservative values and children who are still minors” AKA what used to be prime time TV watchers AKA suburbia. 

 The concept is analytically old fashioned and so fractured at this juncture (socially economically spatially politically) that “general audience” is actually impossible to target and it doesn’t really exist. But try telling that to the publicity department. 

We also call this the “Disney live action demo.” (Think Pirates of the Caribbean.) I occasionally refer to them as “the Simpsons.” And they’re about as realistic. All that to say I am VERY suspicious of Oh! My Sunshine Night‘s production house. 

To My Star does seem to be getting a second season, same director, same mains. Korea is much better about executing on its promises than Thailand, but until I see proof of filming or an honest trailer, my favorite boys are staying in the gossip section. I don’t wanna get my hopes up. (Honestly now, how many of you also want an alt reality with these two as a couple but Kim Kang Min playing his long suffering cardiologist intern character from Hospital Playlist? Just me?) 

I reported on Unforgotten Night a while ago. It seems to have been fully cast now, I still think the publicity stills make it look like a joke. But with this line-up I guess it’s even more of an alt answer to KinnPorsche. 

You know that thing that happens in media when suddenly we get multiples of the same style of movie or show at once? It’s now happening with BL. Love triangles. Restaurants. And now mafia. 

Cutie Pie (our arranged marriage Thai BL staring Zee) dropped some wardrobe fitting photo ops. Also... fancy pants sexy suits that fit, so that’s exciting. 

Starting Soon

My Mate Match from Starhunter should be starting on Line TV next Saturday. Usually, Line has subs relatively quickly and is available internationally. However the fact that the trailer is not subbed and the show is not listed on Line’s site has me nervous. No idea on length of run either. 

Starhunter studio doesn’t have a great track record in general for narrative arcs and this one is not based on a y-novel so could get waffly. This is a roommates love triangle BL about a boy who is looking for one roommate and ends up with two vying for his home and his heart. Stars Jet as the uke lead which I’m pretty happy about as he’s got great comedic timing and is accustomed to BL. He’s opposite two friends/co-actors from Gen Y and other projects, so we know they’re comfortable with each other. They could do great things... if they get a decent script.

Sanji Ace - again i totally see the appeal, I also love the idea of all the strawhats having a crush on Ace but thats it just a crush - idk I can’t see Sanji doing one night stands or long distance relationships - he seems like the kind of guy who needs daily affection, love and affirmations and Ace can’t give that to him imo, i think theyre cute and compatible but because of Sanjis nature i dont see it working out, and I dont like long distance relationships due to originally trying so hard in one myself and basically getting neglected (im not saying im projecting but Sanji probably would feel the same, not that Ace is neglectful but it takes time to send letters and travel to see each other on the grandline) - SO TLDR; definitely cute but not for me

Doflamingo with either Cora or Law is frankly upsetting - he’s a horrible person and I can’t personally see how he’s attractive, he’s repulsive and seeing noncon stuff with him and Law or Crocodile etc is gross
